We’re number 1, we’re number 1! According to e-scooter company, Lime, Calgarians use the ride-sharing service to get around more than anywhere else in the entire freaking world. That’s absolutely wild, guys.
According to CTV, scooters are used in YYC three times as much as the global average. According to the data acquired by the publication, Lime customers use the scooters at least twice a day, most likely to and from work, with each ride lasting about 15 minutes.

The Lime brand e-scooter only hit the streets two years ago, but they’re heavily relied on, especially downtown. So much so, that the city decided to bring them back in the midst of a pandemic.
Needless to say, we have a feeling Lime scooters are here to stay for years to come, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
