A look at yesterday’s peaceful protest in Calgary (VIDEO)
Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who would prefer that you believe all of these protests have been destructive. Like many of you, we’ve seen photos and videos taken out of context and have read the articles about cities and businesses vandalized. Many organizations, Facebook acquaintances, and even some political figures fail to show you are the hundreds of peaceful protests around the world. These protests make up the majority, and we were lucky enough to see one right here in YYC.
These protests are beautiful displays of solidarity, hope, and change, and that should be celebrated. Here are some videos and photos of yesterday’s peaceful protest in Calgary.

Calgary’s next big scheduled march will be at 2 pm on Wednesday, June 3rd on the 10th street bridge in Kensington. The march will move into the downtown area and conclude with a candlelight vigil at City Hall around 8 pm.
