In our opinion, fall is the most beautiful time of the year and Alberta is one of the most incredible places in the country. From the grand Rocky Mountains to the deep river valleys, and charming towns surrounded by towering trees, we can’t think of anywhere we’d rather be in the Autumn. The leaves are yellow, there’s a nip in the air and honestly, we’re all stressed AF, so what better way to wind down than a few days of uninterrupted bliss, luxury, seclusion, and oxygen. Here are 10 of the best fall weekend getaways near Calgary!

Experience comfort, fresh air, and history under the tall golden trees at Aspen Crossing! Just outside your one-of-a-kind suites, check their chicken coop, beautiful flower garden,  pigpen, and a lagoon.

Go totally off the grid for a few days, but sleep comfortably under the stars at the Sundance Lodges. This is another ‘glampground’ with cute little huts for rent and comfortable, but earthy amenities. We’d recommend staying in one of their cozy trapper’s tents that come complete with heaters, beds and wooden floors.
