We’ve got major news, Calgary! Shiki Menya, one of Calgary’s favourite rainy-day-comfort-food & ramen spots, has evolved. These guys are doubling down on ‘delish’ with the launch of their new concept space, First Avenue Corner Store!

This original grab-and-go spot will be the place for Katsu Sando (a sandwich made with crispy coated meat, and pillowy soft milk break), unique snackage, and drinks!

Located right behind Shiki Menya, diners can now enjoy the same great taste of the popular restaurant’s food, in a fraction of the time.

While Calgary has got a few great places for on-the-run eats, we think this one will really set itself apart. Why? Well simply because no one quite katsu quite like they do, folks. If you’ve never been to Shiki Menya, do yourself a favour, cancel your dinner plans and check it out tonight to see exactly what we mean.

Unfortunately, the convenient store-style, in and out eatery, doesn’t have an official opening date yet, but they’ve been teasing us on social media as if we won’t have to wait much longer.
