Shelter introduces a spicy Spanish tapas pop-up for 3 days only next week

Via Shelter Cocktail Bar

A restaurant pop-up that doesn’t have anything to do with the Stampede? In July?! Unfathomable! But consider us a tad relieved.  You really only can eat so many corn dogs, people. Shelter Cocktail Bar has announced that they will be hosting  Industry big-wig, Chef Chris Picek who will create a tasty, but temporary, Spanish tapas menu.

Picek, who previously worked as head chef at Tapas Bodega in Canmore, will take over for three flavourful days, on July 15th, and our tastebuds are ready.

This guy has practically perfected the art of the small plate. He’s huge on flavour and certainly doesn’t have a problem in playing with unique combinations.

Unfortunately, they don’t have a menu available publically yet, but we can only imagine that these tiny bites will pack a major punch. We’ll definitely be there, will you?
