We have to admit, it took us way too long to discover the beauty of UniMarket. So, we have to give a massive shoutout to our friend Ben for finally showing us the light. It was blinding at first, but now that we’re adjusted to it we couldn’t be more grateful.

First off, we aren’t joking about making taco night unforgettable. The grocery store portion of UniMarket carries absolutely everything you’ll need for the best homemade tacos in the city. From spices to sauces to condiments, the only limits here are the ones you place on yourself.

Not only that, but the restaurant inside provides a benchmark for how good they can be made. With a dizzying variety of fillings, you can head here weekly and never get bored. Plus, you’ll develop the taste necessary for your next taco night. It’s a win-win.

Finally, they offer Mexican Coca Cola (the best) and a fantastic homemade horchata. Basically, it’s a slice of Latin America in Calgary, and we are here for it.

So the next time you really want to impress your friends and family, head here either for groceries or lunch and load up.
