Iconic West Coast drive-thru Triple O’s opens first location in Calgary
Burgers, and shakes and french fries, O-O-Oh my! We hope you’re hungry, Calgary, because west-coast drive-thru, Triple O’s has actually just opened up their very first restaurant in YYC.
Known for their old school style, hand-scooped milkshakes, and secret Triple “O” Sauce, this food-forward drive-in has become a massive hit, with over 70 locations in Canada and in Asia.
“I’ve been asked many times when we’d open a restaurant in Calgary,” said Triple O’s President Warren Erhart. “Well, the big day has come! We know Albertans love their beef, so serving up our 100% fresh, never frozen, Canadian beef burgers at our newest location is a great fit.
In addition to their locally sourced beef, Triple O’s have also committed to using other Alberta-farmed ingredients. Dairy and eggs will also be from right around the city, which is something we think we can all get behind, right?
Like other restos that are opening in quarantine, Triple O’s has also had to take precautionary measures to ensure everyone’s safety.
They do offer dine-in, but they’re encouraging first-time diners to consider rolling through the drive-thru, which offers a convenient contactless payment option. Also, in addition to bomb customer service, their employees have been trained on enhanced cleanliness and sanitation protocols and also have to complete routine wellness checks – just in case!
If you’re not ready to head out just yet, these guys are also on SkipTheDishes and will be launching a Mobile Ordering App, in the very near future. Virus-free and full? We can’t really ask for more than that right now. Check em’ out, Calgary! We know we will!
