GRETA - Calgary's first new arcade-eatery-bar

Hitting up a bar for some tasty drinks, swinging by the arcade for a few friendly games, and then grabbing some delicious street food to top it all off sounds like the perfect night-out adventure. But, what if you could have that entire adventure at one location? Well, at GRETA now you can Calgary, so let the games begin.

With an interior design that will blow minds all over town, two-levels of space (including a DJ and dance floor), and an atmosphere that is unlike anything the city has seen before, GRETA is here to steal Calgary’s heart night in and night out. Looking to grab that perfect Instagram picture with the crew?

Well, now is your chance. Strike a pose in front of GRETA’s mid-century modern design that incorporates splashes of graffiti-coloured walls, exposed brick arches, and the neon glow of over 50 interactive arcade games.

Feeling a snack? Of course, you are. With a menu that goes from a Ginger Beef Bao Bun to a Hawaiin Garlic Shrimp Plate, there are global options for every appetite. OH, and did we mention that the food comes from a FOOD TRUCK INSIDE OF THE BAR?? Just a little bonus thrill to add to a completely unique Calgary night out.

When the founder of GRETA, Chris Decock, was traveling around the Southern States, he became inspired by the vibrant food truck scene and wanted to bring that community-style eatery north of the 49th. Being President & Co-Founder of Hudsons Canada’s Pub, he had the industry knowledge to make something happen and that’s exactly what he did.

The majority of GRETA’s food supports local by using vendors from around the Calgary area, such as Silk Road for spices and Empire Provisions for prepared meat products. The menu highlights specialty street eats from around the globe, stemming from personal experiences that the GRETA Team has shared.

GRETA believes in supporting local, giving back, and most of all, GRETA believes in having a great time while being yourself, whoever that may be.
