Brasserie in Kensington to close its doors after 10 years

Via Brassereie / Facebook

After 10 years of serving some of the tastiest comfort food in the city, the Brasserie Kensington restaurant is permanently closing its doors to the public. Luckily it’s not all bad news today, though!

Recognizing that most people are yearning for change, owners of the beloved inner-city resto, Cam Dobranski and Jacqueline Warrell. have decided to redefine the space.

Cam and Jacqueline will reopen in June with a new look, a new menu, and a new concept! See! We told you it wasn’t all bad news! “The decision was not an easy one” Curiocity was told in an e-mail.

We’re sure that it wasn’t and man, we will miss this Calgary spot. On the bright side, we’ll have somewhere to cope!

These two have been pretty tight-lipped about their new project, but we can’t imagine it’ll be anything short of delicious. We’ll be looking forward to it!
