When it comes to pizza places in Calgary, we can all agree that we don’t have too many authentic choices to pick from. We’ve got some tasty spots, absolutely, but when it comes to getting a hefty, perfect NY-style slice, Calgary is damn-near empty-handed. Well, Calgary was emptyhanded. We’re happy to announce that in the next coming weeks Calgary will have a brand new pizza joint dedicated to delivering that New York slice experience!

Owned and operated by Calgary food industry veteran Rob Greco, Carmine’s Pizzeria is advertised as “Calgary’s Freshest Slice Shop”. Rob formerly owned the delightful Fine Diner in Inglewood, so he certainly knows what keeps Calgarian’s tastebuds happy. In addition to New York-style slices, Carmine’s will offer up pasta, salads, munchies and even some soft serve ice cream. Not bad at all.
With 18 seats on the inside, you can sit down for a slice and a beer. If that ain’t your jam, take your food to go! Speaking of jams, you can expect some wicked music playing every time you walk through the door of Carmine’s Pizzeria.
An opening date hasn’t been confirmed. That being said, we’ll be sure to give you the heads up when the doors officially open! Get your New York-style appetite ready, Carmine’s is coming in hot.
