Another Stephen Avenue location worth hitting up for a special occasion is Blink. It’s more contemporary than some of the others on this list, but the menu here is pretty damn dynamite. Grab a few different plates and be ready to take a little bit of everything.

You’re going to be making money (fingers crossed) for the rest of your life, so why not spend a little right now? This super-upscale French spot offers 4-course and 7-course chef’s tasting menus that are as good as they are expensive. Hint: Very.

Caesar’s Steakhouse

White linens, expert service, and tableside Caesar salad made right before your eyes. It’s as cool as the old school gets here in Calgary. Pro tip: Book the downtown location. It’s even more classic.

Teatro Ristorante

Speaking of the old school, this has been one of Calgary’s finest restaurants for decades. The location is fantastic, service is top-notch, and everything about the experience will make a Graduation dinner very, very special. Dress nice and you’ll feel even nicer. Trust us.

La Chaumière

The French sure know how to run up a bill. La Chaumière has been dishing out top-notch French fare since 1978, so if longevity is a sign of quality then these guys are crushing it. Oh, there are also over 800 vintages in the wine cellar here. A few of the bottles run as high as $3500 each. Cheers!

Ten Foot Henry

It’s consistently ranked among the best, if not as the best restaurant(s) in Calgary, so this is a no-brainer. Also, the menu is unique and definitely won’t break the bank. This is the type of restaurant that can turn any occasion into a special occasion, so keep that in mind.

Deane House

If you’ve got a big group and want to make Graduation dinner feel like a home-cooked meal in an intimate setting, this is your spot. Also, if you can get a home-cooked meal that tastes this good at your actual home, we are forever envious.

River Café

This is an obvious pick, but any dinner at the River Café makes for a pretty nice night. Seasonal Canadian fare focuses on local and sustainable sources to find some pretty unique tastes across the board. Walk the Bow River before or after to put the icing on top.
