Halloween isn’t cancelled, but if you’re too old to trick or treat this year, it’s a heck of a lot harder to find something worth doing. If you’re not the haunted house type, consider checking out Telus Spark’s Great Pumpkin Smash!

With a pumpkin catapult, uniquely gooey science shows and a surprisingly adorable reptile meet and greet, the science centres’ hourly activities will keep you in the safe, warm and in the spirit of things on October 30th and 31st.

In addition to these spooktacular events, the Science Eatery will actually be serving Pumpkin-infused snacks (yum) and the gift shop will be offering a 20% discount to anyone who visits in costume so get into it, ghouls!

Admission is only $26 and will include all three special-to-Halloween activities and will also give you access to the rest of the facility free of charge. Not a bad way to spend those dollar bills, hey?

Check it out, Calgary! It’s going to be a smashingly good time.
