Guess what folks! This Saturday you can watch free holiday movies across Canada thanks to Cineplex. Seriously, they’re just releasing tickets at 9AM for a bunch of movies, and it’s first come first serve. First, let’s talk about the movies available.
They vary per theatre, but here are all the movies being played across the county:
- A Christmas Story
- Elf
- Gremlins
- National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
- The Polar Express

As you can see, they’ve basically rounded up the best of the best for us. All that’s missing is the sappy Christmas rom-com, but we’ll survive without it. We’ll just pretend that Gremlins is somehow a romance. No problem.
Plus, all the concession snacks are heavily discounted and all proceeds go to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada. We’re talking like $2.50 and up for drinks, popcorn and candy. Super cheap movie snacks and it goes to a good cause? Four large popcorns, please.
