Hockey and cute pups mix at the Calgary Hitmen Pucks for Paws game

Calgary, get ready to squeal and “eek,” because the Pucks for Paws hockey game is back! This Friday, catch the Calgary Hitmen as they take on the Lethbridge Hurricanes for a charity faceoff in partnership with the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society and the Four Feet Companion Foundation.

This year’s game will have a 50/50 draw and a live wiener dog race, where first place will get a trophy and dog treats. If that doesn’t melt your heart like a Dome malt on a hot day, we don’t know what will!

$5 dollars from each sale for the January 10th game will go towards creating better lives for companion animals by offering support to local shelters, and helping other charities to continue rescuing, saving, and finding furever homes for our furry friends. We couldn’t resist the “furever,” sorry.

Tickets for the game can be purchased through their link here, using the promo code FOURFEET or promo code AARCS. Even if hockey isn’t your thing, it’s still worth at least going for the weiner dogs on ice. We honestly, can’t think of a better way to spend a Friday night.

When: Friday, January 10th
Where: Scotiabank Saddledome – 555 Saddledome Rise SE
Time: 7 PM – 10 PM
Cost: $15+
