Alberta’s golden boy is back at it, but this time his love for YYC won’t be heard on any radio station, it’ll be seen on the big (ish) screen! Calgary sweetheart Paul Brandt is making his cinematic debut next month with Beauty of Pursuit, an ode to his hometown and the sport of flyfishing.

Joined by his pal, Paul Norris and legendary fly-fishing guide, Naoto Aoki, Brandt will dive deep into the details and personal importance of something that takes up a lot of his time when he’s not writing music or touring.

Now, we’ll be honest. We definitely wouldn’t consider ourselves the ‘fishing type,’  the visuals in the trailer looks pretty un-freaking real.  When we’re on the ground, it’s easy to forget how beautiful the city and the Rockies really are, but it really is something else – and Brandt does a great job showcasing that!

To watch the film for yourself, pop some popcorn and tune in here at 5 pm MT on Friday, April 9th when he’ll be premiering Beauty of Pursuit for free!

It’s going to be a party, people! Check it out.
