HBO has been responsible for some of our generation’s best TV Shows and movies, so to say they know what they’re doing is an understatement. From scripts to the directors and producers that they work with, they’ve got serious taste… so it was almost no surprise when they announced that their upcoming live-adaption of The Last Of Us would be shot in and around Calgary.

We may be biased, but choosing to film in Calgary was one of the many 5-star decisions that make us incredibly excited to see the apocalyptic thriller on the small screen. Not only will their set be *chefs kiss,* but the cast is looking phenomenal.
The Last Of Us, which will begin filming from July 2021 to June 2022, will star Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) and Bella Ramsey who played underage badass of the North, Lyanna Mormont in The Game Of Thrones.
Honestly, if this is not one of the largest productions to be shot here in Calgary, we’re not sure what is and we cannot wait. We don’t know what’s more exciting! The HBO Royalty that will be in our midst, the jobs that it’ll create – or the final product.
Hell, we couldn’t choose. We’re ready for all of it. Bring it on, Hollywood.
