Check out all 15 of Canada’s Grammy nominees

It’s been a pretty solid year for Canadian music on the international stage, so it’s no surprise that 15 different Canadian acts have earned Grammy nominations this year. Drake’s music set streaming records and was once again the driving force behind memes and pop-culture all year long, but there are plenty of other Canadian acts that made big splashes in 2018.

Two of the 6ixGod’s producers, Noah “40” Shebib and Boi-1da, scooped up multiple nominations for songs off of Drake’s Scorpion album. Contemporary Jazz legend and three-time Grammy winner Diana Krall snagged a couple more nominations in hopes to add to her trophy case, and young R&B hit-maker Daniel Caesar also grabbed a nod.

Oh, and congrats to our second favourite Ontario-born pop star named Shawn (behind the OG Shawn Desman, of course), as Shawn Mendes is in the running for two huge awards this year.
