From GlobalFest and Expo Latino Festival to many more festivals flooding Calgary parks and streets, there’s unforgettable music to be heard and international cuisines to be tasted! We’ve teamed up with GlobalFest Calgary to bring you 8 cultural festivals to check out. There are loads of festival fun left to be had this summer, so get out there, Calgary!
Fireworks will shoot across the sky-y-y-y from August 15-24 at Elliston Park. The fireworks will make you go “oh, oh, oh!” (Sorry, we’re done with the cringe Katy Perry references now.) It’s time to sit pond-side, Calgary, and enjoy the amazing experience of GlobalFest!

This fest is bringing the best of uncensored, unexpected, and unforgettable theatre from people of all walks of life. Get your Fringe on with this year’s Fringe Festival! It’s the anything-goes theatre, get ready for some PG-13 fun!

Where: Alexandra Centre Society– 922 9 Avenue SE
Revel in this two-day Caribbean spectacle featuring music, cuisine and visual and performing arts! Carifest is here for one weekend, and though Rihanna might not be there, the party definitely will be. Come listen and dance to the tantalizing sound of the steel drums– don’t miss out Calgary!

As Western Canada’s largest Latin Festival, the Expo Latino Festival spans over 3 days celebrating the diverse latino culture! Dance, sing and limbo your way through Expo Latino Festival and explore mouth-watering cuisines, traditional arts, and crafts and hands-on family-friendly activities.

We’re taking you down to Chinatown! Experience the Silk Road at the 18th anniversary of Chinatown’s Street Festival. Join in on the action and eat, drink and dance your way through this one day only festival!

Come celebrate Calgary’s French-speaking culture! Through music, dance, food, crafts and more, celebrate Francophone cultures from Africa to Europe, through to Asia and South America!

This dynamic festival has something for the whole family! From tasting many Korean cuisines to performances and martial arts demonstrations, Korean Day Festival is open to anyone looking to broaden their understanding of the unique Korean culture!

Sunflowers are a culture, right? Enjoy the beautiful blooms at Cobb’s Corn Maze while you hang with baby kangaroos and sample from beer and wine tastings! Is there anything better? Nope, pretty sure there’s not.
