Welcome back, friends! We’ve always been pretty split 50/50. Sure, big city nightlife can be a lot of fun, but there’s just something about crickets, fresh air and cute farm porches that make us feel like the country is the place for us. Y’know?

This Curiocity Home of the Week in Calgary’s exclusive community of Bel-Aire is where contemporary elegante’ and breezy ranch living meet in the middle. Get you a girl that can do both! Let’s take a look, shall we?

CALGARY HOME OF THE WEEK

This 6 bedroom beast has 7 bathrooms and 7,700 square feet of functional space. In addition to the essentials that also includes a four-car garage and a freaking elevator. Never use stairs again with access to all three levels of the home!

The decor is neutral and organic, using sharp, clean, lines and lightly varnished wood accents throughout. It’s very Home and Garden magazine, Pinterest board, tranquil-spa chic.

The kitchen, dining room and the living room are open and bright, perfect for spending quality fam-time or having guests. This spacious area, an office, large mudroom, and lobby make up the entire main floor.

We can appreciate this because you can almost see the entire communal living space from one side of the house or the other. It’s super convenient, especially if you have kids, but we would recommend some really good blinds.

The bedrooms in this home all include an ensuite and a generously sized closet. Along with that, the basement is finished and has a large gym area, wet bar with a wine pantry and another office or bedroom. Not bad at all.

Brace for impact, Calgary. If you’re interested in living like a farm-lord with well-rested legs, it’ll cost you a pretty penny. $3,650,000 to be exact.
