Happy Hour of the Week: Delightful Christmas Spirits under $6
Hey there, fine people! This Curiocity Calgary Happy Hour of the Week has to be one of the happiest hours in the entire city. Honestly, what puts people in a better mood than a few twinkling lights, a couple of cheap drinks, and a whole lot of Christmas spirit?! Until we hear about a happy hour in a puddle of puppies, the answer is nothing. Let’s snowshoe right into it, shall we?
HAPPY HOUR OF THE WEEK
Leopold’s Tavern is an extremely laid back jukebox dive bar with classic eats, good beer, and an amazing atmosphere. This isn’t some exclusive, pretentious concept spot. This place is a diamond in the rough with a solid focus on what matters… and right now that’s Christmas.
This bar came out of nowhere when Crescent Heights was just a revolving door of cafes and bistros. It’s still owned today by a couple of friends who had a passion for community and has since successfully opened several other locations across Canada.
If you’re tired of waiting for a table at one of Calgary’s new pop-ups, Leopold’s Tavern might be your solution. For the holidays, Leo’s has actually become a winter wonderland. They’ve decked the bar out in Christmas decor and have even added some holly jolly items to their menu!
From Friday to Sunday and all day Monday at either of their locations, you can sip and save on highballs, pints of beer, Caesars, and house wine. It’s all under $6 between 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm! You can also check out their rotating daily specials which include Taco Tuesdays and their $6 bucket of bacon deal on Monday.
Unfortunately, the happy hour deal doesn’t include their Holiday Jingle Juice, which we wouldn’t recommend getting into on a Wednesday anyway. That stuff is dangerous, guys.
If you fancy something that doesn’t come in a glass, you can check out their entire food menu here!
