Calgary is getting Canada’s largest open-air waterslides at WinSport

Year after year, Calgary gets new and innovative ways to have fun, get loud, and celebrate the summer season – but never have we seen something introduced that is bigger, better, or more daring than the WinSport Wipeout in Calgary.

Set to launch adrenaline junkies to wild speeds at WinSport Park this summer, the WinSport Wipeout will be Canada’s largest open-air waterslide at an incredible 350 ft in height, with two other slides standing at well over 150 feet.

While there is no intention to make this a permanent part of WinSport Park, this does address, at least temporarily, the issue of what to do with the rarely-used ski jumps during the summer season.

And if you’re worried about the Monster Zipline, which runs on the largest jump and is known to be North America’s fastest zipline, don’t be! The WinSport Wipeout slides will only be in action for the month of June, and then it will be back to regularly scheduled programming for WinSport.

“This fast-paced attraction has been years in the making and we cannot wait for families from far and wide to enjoy Canada’s largest open-air slide this June,” a WinSport representative said in a press release.

The best part? In celebration of its inaugural year, The WinSport Wipeout will be free with admission to WinSport Park – so don’t miss out!

You’re in for the ride of your life!
