Canada’s first-ever robot roller coaster is now open in Calgary

Something wacky is coming and adrenaline-seekers should prepare themselves! An unpredictable ride with twists, turns and flips, TELUS Spark has launched RO5iE!, Canada’s first and only robot roller coaster and Calgary must-hit.

A journey described as redefining amusement, this cutting-edge tizzy is said to “push the boundaries of excitement, catapulting riders to gravity-defying feats.”

“As the first of its kind in Canada, RO5iE delivers an adventure that will leave guests craving for more,” the science centre explains.

“This sassy new Spark robot is here to tell guests that the future is friendly and robots are here to make it fun. With five different motions, RO5iE is going to transport you to another dimension.”

So what do you need to know before checking it out?

First off, riders must be over the age of 6 years old, over 4’7″ feet tall and able to pay the $10 fee!

As of right now, this particular excursion will not be included in general admission to the science centre, but it is $3 cheaper for those who sign up to be members.

According to their site, RO5iE! can host 3 people at a time, is exclusive to Calgary (for now) and will be one of the coolest things you can check out this fall.

If you’re interested in climbing aboard, you can head over there now!

Calgary’s robot roller coaster is officially open – but you’ll want to book ahead!

This is sure to be a hit, and you won’t want to miss your opportunity to be among the first to take a spin.

Enjoy and happy twirling!
