Calgary’s 50,000 square foot farmers’ market to open next month

It’s nearly that time, fresh food lovers! After years of anticipation, the Calgary Farmers’ Market will finally open their giant new location next month just in time for the fall of 2022.

Located in the NW community of Greenwich, this enormous destination will have over 50,000 square feet of space, house over 70 local vendors and will create a ton of jobs for local growers, greeters, creators and more.

It’s also going to be quite the community hub for shoppers and curious Calgarians just looking to get some fresh air or grab a bite to eat!

With green grass, towering trees and fairy lights – renderings have gotten our hopes way up and honestly, we can’t imagine that we’ll be disappointed.

Can’t wait to check it out? Well, as we mentioned you’ll have to hang on to the edge of your seat just a little while longer!

As per their Instagram, the Calgary Farmers Market will open their second location this August.

In the meantime, we can still visit the original location located at 510 77th Avenue SE, Calgary. It’s still just as impressive, they still support small businesses and you can still get a ton of your shopping done, which are all big wins in our books.
