With the holidays in full swing, a major chunk of our time is spent searching through shopping centres for the perfect gifts. And while that might seem like the biggest holiday chore right now, Cadillac Fairview (CF) is transforming our holiday shopping into a magical experience.
For those who don’t already know, all of our favourite shopping centres in and around Toronto are owned and operated by CF. Think CF Toronto Eaton Centre, CF Sherway Gardens, CF Shops at Don Mills, CF Fairview Mall, CF Markville and many more.
And this year, CF has decided to take holiday shopping up a notch with a slew of indoor and outdoor activities happening at CF properties around town. Here, take a look—
Live (and free) Holiday Performances
CF properties across Toronto + GTA will come alive with live festive tunes. You can catch local artists performing at most CF shopping destinations from Thursday through Sunday until Saturday, December 24th, 2022. And while the merry tunes will brighten up all shopping centres, CF Toronto Eaton Centre is hosting the Merry Merry Music series boasting an impressive line-up of popular local artists. This has got to be the most magical shopping experience one can get!. The iconic CF Toronto Eaton Centre turns into a winter wonderland with indoor snowfall every day until Saturday, December 31st., 2022. Snowfall times are as follows: weekdays at 12:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (up to December 23rd) and 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (December 24th to December 31st); on weekends at 3:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (up to December 31st). Note, due to early holiday closures, the snow showtimes are at 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.)
CF is also bringing a fun outdoor experience Frozen Fairways to the GTA for the holidays. It is a truly Canadian twist on mini golf that will be set up at CF Markville (from December 21-27) and CF Sherway Gardens (January 2-8). Only here you will use a hockey stick and puck to win the nine-hole mini putt. And the best part is that all $5 reservation fees will be donated to a local charity. Be sure to book ahead to ensure you have a spot!
