You can book a backyard to host friends in Toronto this summer and it’s FREE

Living in Toronto comes with its share of sacrifices, and one of them (for many city residents) is having a backyard. Whether you’re in a condo or an apartment-style house where a backyard is not available, having a private space is rare here. Well, your backyard woes end here. President’s Choice is putting on a super cool summer initiative – Bookable Backyards. Yep, if you wanna host the crew for a summer get-together, now you can.

According to PC, Bookable Backyards are available for three weekends in June and July: June 21, 22, 28, and 29, and July 5 and 6.

Each booking will last from 1 to 5 p.m. and can accommodate up to six people. Oh, and did I mention it’s free?

Backyards are available in both Toronto and Vancouver, and to secure your spot, just go to swimply.com or the Swimply app to explore the yards and select which you’d like to book. Time slots are released on Mondays at noon.

Every backyard will come with the fixings for a great day outside, including a table, chairs and patio umbrella.

It’s first-come, first-served, so be sure to be ready to snag your spot as soon as time slots become available.

We love a free festivity, especially when it involves lounging in a beautiful yard all afternoon.

Summer just got even sweeter, Toronto.
