A night on the slopes: Western Canada’s largest night skiing area is coming back to BC

Guess what, Vancouver? Canada’s family-fave Big White Ski Resort is bringing back its popular night skiing program after a two-year hiatus! We know it’s a bit early to be thinking about winter 2022/23 (or is it?), but we couldn’t be more thrilled.

The popular program features 38 acres of night skiing terrain, adorned with twinkling lights that will make you feel like you’re at the North Pole. Night skiing is accessible via the Plaza Chair, Bullet Chair, and TELUS Park Chair on select evenings, so stay tuned!

“We have a lot of work to do in continuing to find new staff beds and quite frankly, the team members to operate night skiing,” says Michael J. Ballingall, Senior Vice President at Big White Ski Resort Ltd. “But, we know this is a family favourite, and an essential attraction for our local skiers and snowboarders, and we are so happy to have it back on the roster for the upcoming ski season.”
