If you’ve ever wanted to wander through rows of flowers while picking your own bouquet, this hidden u-pick flower farm in southern Alberta gives you the opportunity to experience exactly that.
BG Bouquet Garden is tucked away near Hill Spring, about 20 minutes from Waterton Lakes National Park. You’re greeted with seasonal blooms upon arrival, all while being surrounded by mountain views.
There’s something really nice about how simple the whole experience is.
Once you arrive, you’ll receive a mason jar, flower snips and everything else you need before you head into the fields to start building your bouquet. From there, you can wander through the rows of flowers and pick whatever catches your eye as you go.
The best part of this experience might be the fact that every time you visit, the fields look different. One month, you may come across big bright sunflowers, and the next you’ll see colourful zinnias and soft peonies.
It also doesn’t hurt that the entire place is ridiculously photogenic. With the flowers, open fields, and Rocky Mountains views in the background, it’s pretty hard not to snap a few Instagram photos while you’re there.
One of the best parts about this experience is how accessible and affordable it is. The farm is family-friendly, so it’s a perfect day trip whether you’re going with kids, friends, or just looking for something easy to do on the weekend.
It costs $40 per bouquet, which includes up to 25 flowers of your choosing. Once you’re in the fields, you can take your time picking whatever blooms you feel gravitate to, and the best part is that every bouquet ends up looking different depending on your style.
The farm officially opens for the season on Saturday, June 20, and you can book your visit online in one-hour time slots, so it’s super simple to plan a visit.
So if your 2026 bucket list is looking a little empty, this one definitely deserves a spot.

Time: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Hill Spring, Alta. (Located off Highway 550, then head north on Range Rd. 280)
