If Beyond Meat wasn’t already taking over the world, their latest business venture may have changed that. The U.S.-born plant-based protein company just signed a massive partnership deal with McDonald’s and Yum! Brands. In case you’re not privy to the fast-food business, Yum! Brands is responsible for a ton of joints like KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and more.

So needless to say, this deal is a pretty big one. The plan is set to take approximately three years to fully implement. But once it’s in place, Beyond Meat will be the “preferred supplier” for plant-based products at McDonald’s and other fast-food spots.

Although the McDonald’s deal and the Yum! Brands deal are technically two separate strategic partnerships, we have to say, it’s pretty darn impressive how Beyond Meat is taking over the whole fast food scene in the blink of an eye. With vegan and plant-based alternatives gaining popularity by the minute, it’s no surprise this massive move took place.

There’s no word yet on when these meat-alternative products will begin to be available at the fast-food joints. But we’re definitely excited to try them once they are. Do we see a plant-based crunch wrap supreme in your future?
