Here are the best neighbourhoods for nightlife in Toronto

Toronto’s nightlife is nothing less than thrilling – depending on where you decide to spend your night. With hundreds of bars and clubs in the city, there’s never a dull moment. But choosing where to go will really dictate how your night ends. The best neighbourhoods for nightlife in Toronto differ by preference but according to a new ranking, there are three top spots in the city for a night out.

According to real estate platform Wahi, there are three neighbourhoods in the city that they consider the BEST for nightlife.

We looked at the foodie list before so of course, nightlife comes next.

“We crunched the numbers for 400 neighbourhoods in five Greater Toronto Area (GTA) regions and ranked the top-three neighbourhoods in 11 categories. Categories are based on different lifestyles, needs and interests such as families, retirees, foodies, shopping, nature lovers, nightlife and more,” according to Wahi.

The choices may be obvious to some but for others coming to visit the city, this is a good place to start.

Here’s the ranking for the best neighbourhoods for nightlife in Toronto:

  1. Entertainment District
  2. St Lawrence
  3. Church-Yonge Corridor 

Though these should be taken as merely a suggestion, there are a number of neighbourhoods in the city that are certain to be a good time. Take a look at the Ossington strip and its many restaurants and bars or Little Italy -rich of history and hidden gems.
