With the holidays rapidly approaching, now is the ideal time to get all your grocery shopping, gift shopping, and errand-running needs out of the way. And if you’re looking to pick up some beverages at the liquor store within the remainder of the year, you’ll want to plan ahead, because the majority of BCL stores have adjusted holiday hours and closures to make note of.
In an email with Curiocity, the BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) confirms that BCLIQUOR (BCL) stores will close at 6 pm on Christmas Eve (December 24th), and will be closed on both Christmas Day (December 25th) and New Year’s Day (January 1st).
As well, most BCL stores will have adjusted hours on Boxing Day (December 26th) and New Year’s Eve (December 31st).

Customers are encouraged to check BCL’s website for specific store hours.
To make your life a little easier, many of these stores are on Skip The Dishes and Uber Eats. So if you’re unable to make it to the store yourself, you’ve got options.
So there you have it, Vancouver! If you’re planning on swinging by your local BCL store, make sure you grab your holiday bevies sooner rather than later. You likely won’t be the only one getting some last-minute bottles!
