Attention, job searchers! If you’re on the hunt for your next role, BC Hydro has over 50 open positions across the Lower Mainland right now, and many of them are based in Metro Vancouver. Whether you’re an engineer, an admin assistant, or looking for a co-op role, a ton of the company’s departments are in search of new talent, and as one of B.C.’s Top Employers of 2025, it has plenty to offer its employees.
In addition to a flexible work model that includes hybrid and remote options for most roles, BC Hydro offers benefits emphasizing a healthy work-life balance, according to its website. This includes extended medical coverage (prescription drugs, vision, dental, massage therapy, physiotherapy, and chiropractors), as well as a $2,750 annual mental health benefit, and a minimum of 15 paid vacation days – all of which are in effect on your first day with B.C. Hydro.
The company also provides emergency out-of-country medical travel insurance, group life and accident insurance, parental leave with a top-up of 85% of your basic earnings (17 weeks for maternity leave and/or eight weeks of parental leave), and unpaid leaves of absence for up to one year.
Those interested can view the full list of open opportunities here, or create a candidate profile to be notified when a job aligned with your experience opens up.
Good luck, applicants!
