Seattle is a busy city and as such, many people find themselves needing to eat on the go. It’s not every day that a new restaurant opens catering to that need in a way that still makes eating an experience. Baskette is a new perspective on eating on the go and it just opened in Fremont.

Baskette officially opened in late October and offers a curated selection of “gastronomical goodies that lend to mindful eating.” The restaurant is all about “the joy of taking food to a new environment or finding new pleasure in a familiar spot.”

That means you can pick out and design your perfect picnic basket. With a focus on community through farmers and artisans you’ll find delicious and high-quality ingredients to take your meal to the next level.

According to the website, you’ll soon be able to enjoy a breakfast and lunch prepared and packaged for you each day to grab and go.

There’s also a weekly menu with rotating offerings like sandwiches, salads, soup, and even smoothies. The restaurant’s social media account also mentions that they offer natural wines and even gifts plus they do catering if you need something more.

So grab a whole basket, a few goodies, or just enjoy a sandwich. It’s always good to try something new.
