A two-floor artisan market is taking over this historic barn in Calgary

The Barn Artisan Market, a monthly, two-floor vendors market, is gearing up for another day of shopping this month.

Head to the historic Shawnessy Barn on Feb. 22, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the fully curated, artisan market experience. Here you’ll find over 30 local artists, crafters, creators, markets, and so much more.

“The Barn, as it is affectionately known, is the last Vernacular-style barn within Calgary city limits that is still usable,” shares organizers. “Originally built in 1915 by local homesteader, John McInnes, it still sits on its original location!”

What to expect

Held every month, this February you can expect a brand-new line-up of vendors. And the best part about it, they all offer unique, hand-crafted, made-in-Alberta products.

Browse the wonderful selection and support local. Admission is always free; all you have to do is show up.

The Barn Artisan Market was first established in January 2020, originally known as the Whole Earth Market, and focuses on showing local, Albertan creatives.

Can’t make it this time around? Don’t worry! It’s all going down again on March 22, 2026.

Mark your calendars and don’t miss out!
