From food banks to reusable cups, here’s everything A&W is doing to give back this holiday

A&W restaurants in Calgary are channelling the spirit of the season with new ways to give back. From their local Food Banks partnership to reducing landfill waste, here’s everything going on at your favourite burger spot this holiday season.

Gameday Giving

Burgers for a cause? You bet!

From December 7th and onwards, A&W, Calgary Food Bank, and the Calgary Flames are teaming up for Gameday Giving to tackle food insecurity in our city.

Here’s a quick rundown of what’s going on and how you can make your lunch count!

Buy a Mama burger on a Calgary Flames Game Day, and $1 from each burger sold will be donated to the Calgary Food Bank.
Round up your bill at the Drive-thru window or front counter.
Make a cash donation when you order on non-game days.

Last year, A&W raised $62,778.51 for local Food Banks – let’s help them beat that number!

One Cup Program

A&W is launching its new One Cup Program on Monday, December 11 to help reduce landfill waste – and help you save a little cash!

Buy your first reusable A&W cup for $3, and enjoy your favourite drinks. Then, simply exchange your cup the next time you order and get 20 cents off your next A&W beverage.
