There’s an art competition in Edmonton happening this weekend, and you won’t want to miss it.
Art Battle is coming to Edmonton, featuring a variety of different artists from in and around Alberta. In this live art event, artists will battle against one another in a timed competition. You can be a part of the live audience watching every stroke of the paintbrush.
This live art tournament has made its way around the globe since 2001, and now it’s finally making an appearance in our own city. On Friday, Art Battle will be taking over Casino Yellowhead for the ultimate showdown.
Here, you’ll be able to watch multiple artists at work on this stage, creating masterpieces in just 20 minutes per round. Not only that, but you can vote for your favourite piece, helping crown the competition’s ultimate champion.
If you fall in love with one of the unique pieces of art, you can seize that opportunity by placing a bid through their silent auction.
Be a part of the fun as a spectator, or you can participate as one of the featured artists by applying online.
You can be a part of the fun as a spectator. If that’s not your style, you can even participate as one of the featured artists by applying online. Also, most Art Battle events have a ‘Wildcard’ easel, where artists can leave their names at the door and are drawn at random to pick the Wildcard Artist. Just buy a ticket and show up to be a potential wildcard!
As of now, there are 13 confirmed artists. Some of the artists include Aira Palaypay, Glen Sergy, and Raevyn Berg.
Ready for an evening of magic? Be prepared this Friday. You won’t want to miss out on this one.
