Ontario’s popular torch lit forest skating trail is finally back this month

If you’ve ever wanted to have a skating experience straight out of a fairytale, then you’re going to want to visit Ontario’s Arrowhead Ice Skating Trail.  Best of all, the magical Fire and Ice nights that take you through a torch-lit forest skating trail are set to return.

The Muskoka forest is already a must-do and a popular spot for Ontarians and visitors alike. And while the daytime Arrowhead Ice Skating Trail is well worth checking out, what happens at night is even more special. The Fire and Ice nights are one way to take your Muskoka forest experience to the next level. Imagine skating alongside hundreds of tiki torches all while under the watchful eye of the night sky.

The nighttime skating experience has understandably become extremely popular over the years. And once you try it, it’s likely that it will become a part of your winter traditions as well. But with that in mind, you’re going to want to plan ahead when it comes to visiting the trail.

The trail is open nightly from 6 pm – 9 pm starting January 20th. While you can rent skates for a cost of $15 for 3 three hours, we recommend bringing your own due to the fact rentals are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

So grab your friends and find the perfect night to enjoy a skating experience you’ll never forget. You can click below to learn more and you can start reserving your tickets for the nighttime trail on January 16th.
