The Artic Club Hotel is now operated by the Oxford Collection, an independent family-owned portfolio of hotels based in Bend Oregon.

If you’re unfamiliar with the hotel, it was originally built in 1916 by A. Warren Gould for the Artic Club, a club formed by successful Alaskan Gold Rush pioneers.

Today, it is a ten-story hotel known for its fantastical details like carved walrus sculptures that adorn the exterior. On the interior guests will delight in the domed ballroom that features a stained glass ceiling and rooms with nods to the Klondike era.

The good news is that the Oxford Collection fully intends to keep and preserve the building’s heritage elements, helping it to remain a true landmark in our city’s history.

Beyond booking one of the hotel’s 120 rooms, guests can also enjoy the Polar Bar Lounge for drinks and eats.

Looking good, Arctic Club!
