Of all the new attractions in Alberta that we’ve heard about this year, the new ice climbing wall in Edmonton might just have to top the list! The Edmonton Ski Club paired up with Edmonton’s Alpine Club of Canada to bring this to life. Let’s see what’s up.
First off, the wall has everything you need to get out on the ice. Not only is the equipment available to rent, but they have orientations available as well for those who need to complete a belay check beforehand. Safety first on any wall, folks!

So, from beginners to veterans and everyone in between, there’s something here for you. With the explosion of outdoor winter sports this year, we have a feeling this is going to be a major hit.
