An enchanting fresh flower festival is coming to Niagara Falls this Friday

Summer may be ending, but Niagara Falls is in full bloom. A fresh floral trail is opening this Friday with tons of colourful displays and installations throughout the region. You’ll want to give yourself a full day (or a weekend!) to explore every magical sight there is to see at this pop-up event.

The Fleurs de Villes festival is a collection of floral art made by Niagara’s top talent. It’s a self-guided and socially distanced event that’s open to the public until October 3rd.

All 36 stops on the trail are mapped out for you, so you know exactly where to go. The installations are located in the Fallsview Entertainment District, and within Niagara Parks between the Floral Showhouse and Queen Victoria Park.

You’ll get to see famous floral mannequins, a colourful phone booth, as well as flower-filled pathways, wreaths, fountains, cakes, benches, staircases, and more.

There are special events going on at Fleurs de Villes too, including afternoon tea, a sip and paint event, flower arranging workshops, a pop-up artisan market, and a sparkling trio tasting at a lavender farm.

Fleurs de Villes has hosted 37 flower shows in the past 5 years across 17 cities, from London’s Covent Garden to New York City, L.A. and Miami. From the sounds of it, we’re in for a real treat here in Ontario.

To plan your visit, you can take a look at the list of special events and the map of floral displays. And while you’re there, you can cross some more activities off of your Niagara summer bucket list while they’re still open!
