Amazing Race Canada is casting for its 9th season & here’s how to apply

Are you a Canuck with a competitive spirit? Amazing Race Canada is set to return to the small screen for its 9th season and they’re accepting applications from people like you!

As the country’s most-watched summer series, this fast-forward show has taken contestants around the work and back again – all in the name of good fun, adventure, and of course, a grand prize of $250,000 CAD.

Starting on November 28, those who are interested in auditioning are asked to make a 3-minute (or less) video that showcases the strengths, weaknesses and quirks of each team member.

These videos should be high-energy and can be out of the box just as long as producers can still get a feel for how you and your partner interact and solve problems.

In addition, they ask that you send three photos and an online application – but only if you will be over the age of 19 when they start filming in April.

Other eligibility requirements are as follows:

  • Teams must be available and willing to participate in the Race for a period of approximately thirty-five (35) days
  • You and your teammate must be comfortable being recorded and portrayed in any way that they see fit.
  • You must be a Canadian resident with a valid passport and the ability to travel legally across Canada and the globe
  • You or your teammate must possess a valid Canadian driver’s license by March 1st, 2023 – valid for at least 6  months from that date.
  • Teams must be in good health and able to participate in physical and mental challenges

Lastly, you and your co-player must have a pre-existing relationship.

Teams can be made up of spouses, siblings, friends, coworkers, grandparents, mentors and proteges or something else.- assuming that you have great chemistry and can handle spending an entire month together.

Interested? Head over to their website now, good luck and enjoy!

You might just find yourself several thousand dollars richer by the end of next spring!
