Ready for a scare this weekend? Well then, you could head over to the town of Vegreville, Alberta for a truly spooky experience at The Haunted Hike. This much-loved attraction reopened after a 7-year hiatus in 2019, and has returned for our enjoyment this year!

What started as a fun community event, put on by a single family, turned into an attraction unique in the province. And while things usually go down outside, this year the experience will take place in a warehouse instead. Personally, we’re more spooked by that idea anyway.

Located just over an hour east of Edmonton, Vegreville has another unique attraction in town. That’s right, it’s also the home of The World’s Largest Easter Egg. We say drive over in the afternoon to get a peek at the behemoth, then head over to The Haunted Hike.

There, you’ll be treated to a very fun, scary and socially distant haunted experience. While not much info is available online, we’re seeing hints of the occult, some messed up experiments, and just generally freaky vibes. All in, it’s the perfect way to get in the Halloween mood.

And it opens this weekend! Grab your tickets today, folks.
