Beer gardens, Brett Kissel & more: Here’s everything happening in celebration of the first-ever Alberta Day

Are you ready to party? September 1st is just around the corner, which means that so is our first-ever Alberta Day, a non-stat held in celebration of the beautiful province we call home – but what exactly can you expect this year?

As announced back in July, this unique event is meant to give residents a day to honour our “unique spirit, culture and heritage,” while also connecting with neighbours, friends and family in and around the area.

While no, we won’t get the day off, officials have planned a series of concerts, shows and more that will get people out and about over the weekend – starting on Thursday and rolling into the 3rd.
