One of the most serene spa experiences in the world just opened in Toronto

It’s here! Aire Ancient Baths, the Spanish wellness brand “acclaimed for transforming historic buildings into sanctuaries of deep relaxation,” announced in October that a Toronto location (the first in Canada) would be coming before the end of the year, and they kept their word. Open now, you can immerse yourself in Aire Ancient Baths’ signature candlelit bathing rituals within a 1912 Edwardian building downtown.

Located at 510A Front Street West, the 23,000-square-foot space features a full circuit of hot and cold bathing experiences:

  • The Palestra Outdoor Bath: An open-air bath unique to Toronto.
  • The Flotarium: A saltwater bath for “effortless flotation.”
  • The Balneum: Thousand Jets Bath: A hydrotherapy experience.
  • Tepidarium, Caldarium, and Frigidarium baths: Each revealing a “distinct sensation of temperature, texture, and tranquility.”

There’s also a dry sauna, 12 massage rooms, and two warm marble beds.

Exclusive to Toronto, guests can try out The Signature Boreal Forest. This 150-minute experience is inspired by Canada’s northern landscapes – pretty sweet! It includes:

  • A guided thermal circuit rooted in contrast therapy
  • A 15-minute Canadian pink salt exfoliation on warm marble
  • A 60-minute cedar essential oil massage with jade hot stones
  • A Restorative scalp massage
  • Sparkling wine, chocolates, and forest berries

Depending on the package you choose, and if you choose to experience Aire as a couple or alone, experiences start at $175.

If you’ve been searching for something to get your significant other for the holidays or Valentine’s Day, look no further. Or, if you just need an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Aire Ancient Baths await.
