You’re a staaaar! You might not be internationally known, but now, thanks to a popular airline, you can at least fly like you are! In order to further enforce physical distancing measures, Air Canada has begun deploying its fleet of private planes, typically reserved for A-list actors, sports teams, and legendary musicians.
Undiscovered talent (like us) now have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to climb aboard one of their premium Airbus A319 ‘Jetz.’

While our favourite sports teams are on hiatus, we’re bringing our fleet of Air Canada Jetz aircraft to you. The spacious cabin, with only 58 seats, provides more comfort and personal space. These first-class Air Canada private planes can carry up to 120 passengers, but to prevent the spread of COVID they have since been downsized to only 58 seats. How exclusive. Unfortunately, these flights will still be a tad more expensive, but they will depart from prime gate locations which is very VIP. Also, these bad boys will board only 25 minutes before heading down the runway… as opposed to the hour or so most of us are used to, and honestly, that in itself is worth a few more bucks.
Flights resumed at the end of May, and will only fly to a handful of countries, including Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Washington Dulles, and Chicago. However, those hoping to jetset worldwide won’t have to wait too much longer… although maybe they should? Just in Case.
Air Canada is expected to expand its list of destinations in July, adding overseas hot spots like Rome, Athens, Lisbon, London, Amsterdam, and Tokyo to name a few.
Now, if you do choose to fly, remember to fly safely! Be smart, wear a mask, and wash your freaking hands. Bon Voyage, fancy folk!
