Adam Sandler was spotted celebrating Canada Day in Mississauga

A Canada Day celebration in Mississauga had an unexpected celebrity sighting this past weekend. Adam Sandler made an appearance at the event on Friday, presumably taking some time off while he’s in town filming his latest project.

Port Credit Fire Chief Deryn Rizzi posted a photo with Sandler taken at the event in front of a PCFD Bickle fire truck.

It’s hard to say which one is cooler… Adam Sandler or our Bickle fire truck,” he tweeted.

Sandler has been spotted all over the Toronto area in recent weeks for the filming of his Netflix production, called You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah!

Fans have been posting their selfies with Sandler as they run into him around the city.

What brought him to Mississauga’s Canada Day event is anyone’s guess, but we’re happy to see him doing some sightseeing when he’s not on set.
