A Quebec couple fined $3,000 after wife walks her husband on a leash after curfew

In the latest edition of WTF, Canada?, a very interesting couple in Quebec were fined $3,000 for breaking the province’s curfew, after a wife walked her husband on a leash. There’s a lot to unpack there, so we’ll give you a moment.

Apparently, the couple in Sherbrooke, Quebec was found walking out and about at 9:00 PM on Saturday, January 9th. We’re certain they aren’t the only ones to be breaking the curfew law, but they are most likely the weirdest ones Quebec police have seen yet.

The new Quebec curfew, put in place to help curb the spread of COVID-19, allows for dogs to be walked after the 8:00 pm curfew. According to CTV, the couple was happy to take the ticket of $1,500 each, saying they were just following the rules.
