Flowers make everyone happy. After all, they’re beautiful, they smell nice and they’re in bloom in the summer. So what could be better than getting a fresh bouquet of flowers? Well, one North Vancouver resident just made floral arrangements a whole lot more accessible with a flower cart.
Rachel Klausen created a simple neighbourhood flower cart after being inspired by the honour-system boxes and businesses around the province. You know, the ones that are always selling produce or baked goods. And we think this is an excellent idea. Because we don’t see many honour system businesses in our neighbourhoods and we’d love to be able to get flowers without heading to the store.

So with some materials from home, this florist has created a hub for neighbours to get beautifully arranged $10 flower bundles. And that’s pretty dang sweet if you ask us. Not to mention, Rachel grows her own flowers which is amazing. And honestly, we wish someone would do the same in our neighborhood.
