A huge new wellness centre with Canada’s biggest cycle studio is opening in Toronto

An active lifestyle is right at your fingertips thanks to the brand new social wellness centre coming to Toronto. This fall, you can experience the best of the best with Altea Active. The spot is opening its Ontario flagship location in Liberty Village and it’s going to be stacked with amazing perks and amenities you’ll have to see to believe.

So the Altea Active Liberty Village social wellness centre is set to span a whopping 89,000 square feet. It’s designed by Toronto-based critically acclaimed firm Chapi Chapo Design. Which off-the-bat is already pretty impressive, right?

As for what you can expect? Let us enlighten you. There will be two full levels of wellness-inspiring fitness and social space. Some of the highlights include a 25-metre lap pool and a KLAFS Sanarium (a five temperature zone sauna) and KLAFS Polaris Ice Room. Plus, the largest cycling studio in Canada, a 2,500 square foot hot yoga studio, five boutique fitness studios for classes, and an open-concept workout space with over 250 top-notch workout machines. Whew!

As if all that wasn’t enough, they’ll also have three spots for snacks and beverages while you’re there. The Smoothie Bar will offer a healthy pairing to your workouts. Catalyst (Kitchen & Cocktails) is tailor-made for the social side of things. Plus, there will be a Starbucks on-site for your caffeine fix.

If you ask us, the Altea Active Liberty Village social wellness centre sounds like it’s shaping up to be THE fitness spot in Toronto.
