A huge 7-acre sunflower festival is just weeks away and tickets are on sale now

Now that we’re past the days of tulip festivals and in between the days of pumpkin patches you might as well see some sunflowers. This August and September you can head to Maris Farms to walk among acres of sunflowers and even take home your own bloom. But that’s not all, the farm’s Sunflower Days have all sorts of fun for folks of all ages.

Maris Farms is opening its 7 acres of sunflowers to visitors each weekend between August 14th and September 19th. The farm has over a dozen different colors and varieties of sunflowers for you to enjoy and as part of admission, you can choose one bloom to cut! But if you want more flowers you can choose from the many other U-Cut blooms that the farm has to offer.

Also included in admission are all sorts of photo ops, the opportunity to play at the chalk truck, jump pillow, zip lines, human foosball, low ropes course, trike track, and barnyard ball zone. Additionally, you can check out the somewhat ominous-sounding gaga ball, conk the crow, and the roller bowler. You’ll have to visit and see for yourself!

There’s something for folks of all ages between flowers, a farmer’s market, and the opportunity to sip some wine! We recommend purchasing tickets sooner rather than later as sunflowers only bloom once a year and there’s going to be a whole lot of people looking to get new Insta pics. Keep in mind that when you purchase tickets you get to choose both a date and time. With that, you can learn more and snag tickets by clicking below.
