A hilarious comedy festival returns to Edmonton this week

Ready to laugh off the past year or so? We sure are, which is why we’re interested in the upcoming Grindstone Comedy Festival! Starting later this week, this festival is bringing back comedy in all shapes and sizes, so let’s see what they’ve got in mind for their second year!

Things kick off this Wednesday, with shows running daily until Saturday night. The big headliner this year is thed Canadian comedy legend Jon Dore (who is luckily playing a few shows). But, the lineup features a variety of styles, with sketch and improv shows scheduled alongside the stand-up performances.

The Grindstone will be hosting shows both inside and on their patio, which means even more options for you. Seriously, this is the perfect fun option for a night out this week, so we suggest you pick a show sooner rather than later.

As for us? Well, we’re tempted to check out the finals of the local ‘Stand Up Stand-Off’ competition, just to see if there are any diamonds in the rough that we’ve missed out on. To check out the lineup for yourself, just click the link below!
